Some of the best meals that I have made are on-the-fly creations with whatever happens to be in my fridge at the time.  Usually this is a random assortment of food items that I bought for an actual recipe in a cook book or magazine but didn't need to use all of.  Stuck with 3 cups of buttermilk after needing only one cup for the last recipe.... buttermilk pancakes!  That's an easy one, but you get that idea.

Bear with me as I try to craft recipes for the first time.  For each post I plan to take a picture of the ingredients I have in mind when I start out cooking.  Without doubt, they won't all be used, and more will be added as I cook.  Measurements are no where near exact...
